about

Green Mountains is the first song in my Songbook collection. Written in 1969 it's the first song coherent enough to keep from those days.

lyrics

I've been all around this land and I've seen green green mountains
and I passed through the last
place I've been without trouble

2.
down the rapids of the river I have torn worn worn river
and I stayed where I laid as I wanted on the way

refrain:
traveler I am and I've watched the winter come and go
and my friend the wind blows

3.
many a pace my feet have tread this earth and they feel
real real pavement
and they stay though they fade
as I wander on my way - repeat refrain

about

Tom Ferguson has been writing songs since 1969, all of which are collected in Songs, 1969-2009, which actually continues to ... more grow beyond 2009 - but I like the even number 40 in that title. It's coil-bound to nicely fit a music stand, available at lulu.com just search tom ferguson there. I'm now in process of recording those songs and bunching them in albums on bandcamp. less
