about

These songs are from 1993-4, a surprising number of them about death but joy too, and concerns for democracy and its major obstacle, elite rule. The cover image is a charcoal drawing called, Throwaway World. Musically I was pleased at how easy the lead guitar came... i'd run thru the song a few times & feel ready to record, just seemed to come on it's own. There are keyboards on one or two but mostly I kept them pared down to drums, bass, rhythm guitar, vocals & lead guitar... didn't seem to need more.
