Those new cars they don't stay shiny very long those cigars don't leave you merry very long movie stars don't need you when you're hungry television is violence and product hype decorative women superficial stereotype hard hearted evil men and cops in tight pants 2. newspapers only say what they think is good for them corporations only say what they think will profit them you have to only say the truth to get burned see it in religion desire for authority see it in politics flaming demagoguery see it in the military see it in school 3. blue skies ain't what the future is now offering disguised holocaust big power is now promising their lies come in patriotic cover we can take it back from them there is still democracy we can make our energy assertion of some sanity leave them to their all men's clubs we all live here too
