At about the same time as "So Many Days", I stumbled across a B/E pattern that eventuated in this song. I liked it and felt I had to write some lyrics to it… knowing also I needed a couple more songs for this last album. this is it it's almost over
middle class squalor both sides of the border
who's gonna be around in 2160?
not many not any

what's gonna be said about us when we're dead?
Or will there be no mouthpiece?

Famine and misery like you never knowed
used to be only for them
we might all be that maybe one more spat
or just the daily drip by drip

all comin thank you hierarchy
thank you from the bottom of the hierarchy

promise me everything send me the blinders
call rich-rule justice I will believe you

blame hunger on the homeless pollution on the poor
science for the darkness peaceworkers for the war

I will believe you I will believe you
