about

If you try to point out the inequitable distribution of wealth & power in the U.S. of A. you swiftly get attacked for conducting "class warfare" which is obviously an attempt to obscure the class warfare that goes on constantly from the top end. So I violate decorum and bring it up here,... and the language of propaganda where whether it's "terrorism" depends on who does it to whom, official enemies or allies. The song is a call you could say for critical thinking. Reagan and his administration had been attacking the threat of democracy in Nicaragua, supporting oligarchs and brutal regimes, justifying it all with double-speak and the mainstream media ever backing them up, as always, as today. The world court found the U.S. guilty of terrorist acts against Nicaragua in I think 1984, but few know this since the "free press" failed to pass it on, as is their role in our "free society."

I'm pretty consistently in this time-frame composing on the electric guitar so the chords expand more, somewhat beyond the basic three. The keys vary more also for the same reason. Listening to REM a lot while living in Milwaukee for a year (1991-2) and getting access to a range of music via my nephew - Talking Heads, the Dead, lots of stuff I had missed since the object of my simple living was to secure time to create not buy other people's art.
