about

I wrote this in the living room of the parents of the subject, me in love for the last time, adding the third stanza just before recording - needed a little more length. A ballad incorporating some of the attributes of CH & honoring her with it.

lyrics

Cyndia Hunnicutt came from Illinois
she carried a bucket about her
to water shade trees on the way

a place in the northwest rain season another welcome in New York
a place in the southeast sun season her watering can & garden

she might be in the floodlands of Texas
even Alaska or Maine
the Great Lakes not out of the question
Ohio, Missoura, Georgia

She used our town well once some day
and when she decided to go
she took hold her bucket and she rose
