Star Sea is a 3 verse autobiography as a means of lamenting, or celebrating, or simply observing the wisdom that all things pass. I started a baseball team when I was 7 years. The only one on the team who could read I'd go to each players home the morning of the game. That's the first they'd hear of it and what with sleep-overs, camping out etc; I couldn't round up a team and so sometimes we lost by forfeit. Then in high school I wrote letters to a girl I saw in the halls (not her name) but was too shy to approach. More weighty matters occupied me with the coming of the Vietnam War (invasion). The lesson is that though it all seems important at the time it fades into the past. Not that it's trivial, just gone... afloat all in a Star Sea.
